For those of you who are into films that are on par with what you would see at a theater, undoubtedly the latest addition to the film industry is Tron. It was released in 2010 and it had plenty of fans who loved what they saw, for some reason. It is an action-adventure film set in the futuristic world of computers. The release date for this movie was 10/21/2010 so if you haven't seen it yet, see it now! Released on Blu-Ray on October 21st 2016, this movie has more urgency than ever before. But regardless of whether or not your computer is running its best speed (which I doubt), seeing this live action classic for yourself will be like no other experience. It is an opportunity that you won't want to pass up. My name is Mr. G and I've been writing for quite some time now. I started out doing poetry and essays but now I'm more interested in writing entertainment articles like this Tron: Legacy review you see here today. If this helped you in any way, please give it a like, subscribe to the blog, and share it with your friends! Directed by Joseph Kosinski, "Tron: Legacy" tells the story of Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the son of Kevin Flynn (Jeff Bridges), who finds himself sucked into his dad's computer world after he discovers programs that could affect the world outside of his own existence . He is introduced to Peter (Olivia Wilde) who tells him that his father was in fact their enemy, Clu. At the age of 19, Sam must go on a journey to save his dad and stop Clu from destroying the world. All of this is happening until there is a point in time where anything that has been created in the computer world meets up with reality. Tron: Legacy tells two stories in parallel, one in real life and another is in the digital world. This movie stars Garrett Hedlund as Sam Flynn, Olivia Wilde as Quorra, Bruce Boxleitner as Kevin Flynn, and Michael Sheen as Gorgon. In the computer world, Sam Flynn meets up with Clu, who has been created from his father's code. In this digital world, Clu becomes the main villain. Considered one of the most expensive films ever made, at a cost of around $170 million, Tron: Legacy is a critically acclaimed film that has done well in the box office. It made over $400 million worldwide and sold millions of units on Blu-Ray and DVDs. Although it is a great film with great acting and special effects, it isn't as good as I expected it to be. The storyline was nothing too creative or different from films that have been released many times before. The tone of the film was set up like a typical action adventure while still feeling like it had an original twist. It was extremely predictable, which makes me feel like this film could have been better if there were more surprises and twists offered. The acting, for the most part, was great, except for Bruce Boxleitner who did not fit in with the movie at all. Michael Sheen did an amazing job as Gorgon and his interactions with other characters were real and authentic. Olivia Wilde's acting was good, but I think her character Quorra could have had more time to develop before she was killed off in the second act because I felt there were way too many expectations for this character who just dies about halfway through the film. cfa1e77820
